Design Process - Winglets 1-3
Designs for winglets 1-3 are under tags winga, wingd, and wingp!
Saguaro - Her frill is meant to resemble cactus spines, as is her horns. I gave her calico patches because she is described with “a scar over her heart” and I wanted to make that literal with a heart patch!
Deadlyclaws - red accents to signify murder and red patches on his talons cause of the “claws” suffix. maybe he’s related to Mightyclaws!
Farsight - I made her similar to Starflight and Fierceteeth, but her eyes are funky because of the ‘sight’ in her name.
Swamp - Buff MudWing general. Gave him scarring cause yknow. war.
Tempest - I went bonkers with her design- lots of swirls to signify a storm, or a tempest (hence her namesake)
Quickdeath - I realized the lack of mulberry colored NightWings. thats all
Slaughter - I SO BADLY wanted to make him purple (man behind the slaughter heehoo) but I just went with reddish
Ostrich - I made her look like her granddaughter
King Char - Probably one of my FAVORITE winglet designs. I wanted to make him look nicer than his wife but also the snake motif to show he Can and Will Kill.
Needle - it was mentioned once that she was almost as good as flying as a SkyWing, so I gave her massive wings for a sandwing. Also grey accents because I KNOW it means cacti needle but my mind went to sewing needles which are silver
Quicksand - He’s a chef, so he has a bunch of food on hand. He also died of illness, so I gave him a pseudo-mask to allude to that.
Kindle - I made her round and nice looking because shes a nurse
