Superbat/Batfamily wings au where Bruce's wings are permanently damaged from his training years or through some tragic accident. But he used to be very skilled in the air, so one by one he assists every Robin on their first flight and watches as they soar out of the nest, realising he might not have healed from the tragedy as much as he thought he did.

Then comes Clark, the Superman, who notices his sorrow instantly. After their friendship had grown stronger, Bruce decides to reveal his damaged wings and Clark's heart breaks. Because they were the most beautiful pair of wings he had ever seen, so large and so dark it captures the light and glimmers in the dark. Just as beautiful as the man it belongs to, yet never to touch the sky again.

From then on he begins to take Bruce flying at night as often as he can, holding the man in his arms and cherishing how his eyes sparkle at the beautiful skyline of Gotham and above. Watching as those damaged wings stretch to it's full length after so long and flutter in the wind, falling deeper and deeper in love with Bruce.

Just a little something I thought of that I haven't seen done by others. Could be an angsty hurt/comfort, centering around his grief for his disability and his journey through moving on and healing from the tragedy.

I love wings au's, or just animally au's in general, and your drawings are absolutely gorgeous. i love your art style, the details in those feathers is amazing, and i really like that sam isnt just, like... A falcon, it really makes it feel unique.

Hey thanks for the ask! Yeah I could’ve gone easy route with Sam, but he’s not really a falcon to me. That suits Joaquin more, agile and smaller and more maneuverable. But Sam is a big boy, he should be a larger, more powerful bird. Also ospreys are coastal birds, and I want to make my wings! Au reflect where a character is from!

Since Damian's wings are so small, does that mean he has trouble flying? Or does he do like a humming bird and excessively flap his wings at an extreme speed to make up for that?

I cannot pass up the chance to draw Damian flapping his wings faster than the other bat bros DHGSHDD

Sure he doesn't flap his wings as fast or in the same motion as humming bird but definitely has to do it faster for sure. Gets called Hummingbird by Jason or Tim because of it. The nickname Little Wing is to a literal level.

To Your Eternity Wings!AU 🪶🦅

I swear this was just going to be some drawings with small facts as too why I went a direction with their wings and functionality — not me doing a whole word document detailing events from the anime and manga if the characters had wings — well specifically Fushi, but their immortal friends gaining wings when they are resurrected 🤧

I started with Orb!Fushi and the girls~ and had meant to post them first but then went in depth with the guys so I thought of just posting them all together~ especially since I added in more detail to the guys because I wasn’t confident enough to pull them off, especially Kai, Messar, and kind of Bon — because I hadn’t drawn them at all besides chibi faces. And then had to go back and fix and edit the girls a little,,, ( 〃．．)

Yet, surprisingly, I love how they came out specifically because I put the effort 🤧 especially Messar; let him be lax and smile~

I apologize for my scribble handwriting, I hope it’s readable, if not please let me know and I’m more than willing to write it out or causally link the word document I wrote out for this Au~ it’s all in good fun and open for exploration, it just my own thoughts drawn and written out ✨🙌🏼
