I got off track but I am back. Day 7 of #yarnuary2020 prompt: how has #knitting changed your life? The first 2 pics are my right (dominant) hand after 3 months in a cast. I broke my hand in 2 places and due to my immune system, nearly lost use of my thumb. It didn't even look like a thumb anymore and I could not move it AT ALL. But I did the my fingers as I knit with that cast on. And once it came off, I kept knitting, slowly but surely regaining my use of my thumb. I regained 90%. I cannot imagine if I didn't have knitting "therapy" everyday. I knit the 3rd pic, of #wingsofnightbird while casted.
