What is this!? an art piece with curving lines and smooth gradients!? Why yes, yes it is!
Of all the art pieces I have posted, this has to be one of the most unique in terms of line quality and construction. For starts, Instead of featuring the common rigid line that have come to dominate my post, I wanted to break away from my repetition and try something different.
On that same head, I went from using Photoshop, To Illustrator. Which wasn't much of a challenge, especially considering that I had used the latter program in the past.
On an unrelated note, I must admit that this isn't the first time I tried to make this character, and also try to use a different line setup. As quite a number of months ago I had setout trying to do the same thing, only to end up hating what I had made.
So after spending time practicing Illustrator some more, I finally went back to trying to make this character once more. Which as of this point I am very happy with how it turned out. I might also add that, of all the manes and hair styles I have worked with, This character has to have been the most fun to make.
Here we have @wingspiral ‘s Wing Saber in his natural habitat, consuming his junk food pile.
Funny thing is that I focused drawing more on the character than on the stuff he his eating because they are nothing but “junk” food... Ok, I’ll stop talking now.
I was in complete denial for a bit when i saw this, it had to be a mistake some random error i could not explain, but after refreshing and checking my follower list, it is real @wingspiral is following me!
I cant even, but i really wanted to draw my mental reaction of this, i have been following wing spiral on my mod blog for some time now and absolulty love the characters and the story and i cant believe wingspiral is following me, I dont know how you came to find this blog but i thank you for finding such interest in this blog, you are one of the many that inspire me to draw and create the stories that i want to share with all my followers, im happy you are now one of the many that i can share my stories with ^^
