"there's no loyalty among thieves" i think that's an important quote to keep in mind; and i think oswald does have means of revenue, i mean, he has the nightclub and its been increasingly better and he's been earning more money :3c

He does have the nightclub and it’s been doing better, that’s true, but do you think it’s going well enough for him to be able to pay all those people he would need to have working for him to defend this title? I mean, a king is not just one of many dons, but the one to call the shots in Gotham and if all those people aren’t loyal to Macaroni or Falcone now, after everything, why would they suddenly be loyal to him just because HE has decided he’s to be called king now? ;)

I think, from what we’ve seen so far, he’s still on the way to the top, but he’s not there yet and he’d need a lot more of everything to get where Falcone was.
