Winter Harbor Lighthouse - Mark Island, Maine by garywebb01 One of the highlights of the Maine visit was a 3.5 hour Puffin, Lighthouse, and Seabird cruise. The Winter Harbor Lighthouse is privately owned and not open to the public. It has Maine stamped all over it! The Lighthouse was originally built in 1856 and is constructed of brick and asphalt. The two story house was added in 1876, followed by the Oil House in 1905 https://flic.kr/p/2gz6knw
