So, here he is! The long awaited sona of my mate/boyfriend A few of you have been asking about him so here he is. I really enjoyed making this for him and am so grateful that he trusted me enough to bring him to life. His name is Trevor, but you guys miiiight know him by a different name Is he on DA? Yes, yes he is. And I'll tag his UN here once I get another special piece of art completed.
SO! A bit about his design, hmm?
The Wolf Sona: Ok, so I’ll be very honest in saying this: I know everyone likes to see themselves as some really cool animal. Most often I see foxes, and wolves and large cats. I just want to focus on the foxes and wolves for now. If I’m to be brutally honest, I have only met 2 wolves in my time here, and in this fandom. I rarely meet people who actually reflect the true persona of the wolf. So when I meet someone who truly reflects the animal’s spirit, well, I consider that to be extremely rare. And my mate, well, he’s a wolf through and through. I’ve been talking to him daily for the past 8 months and only in the past month have we finally confessed our feelings for one another. Many people tease and joke and try to make him a cute, small, fluffy rodent for his sona and it makes me snicker because if they knew him the way I do, they’d know they were rodents chuckling over calling a good natured wolf, a rodent, hehe. My mate has displayed several wolf-traits that I deeply adore and value in a partner, and I’m thrilled to at last call him mine. As for his design, he is a larger wolf, (as he is a tall fellow in RL) and he wanted to have natural, warm earthy tones. Given where he lives and where I used to live, I wanted it to reflect the warm tones of the landscape. So I chose for warm browns and tan colours. As for his eyes, like me, he has heterochromia eyes, and the colours are green on the inside and blue on the outside. (He has beautiful eyes, what can I say) so, that explains his striking eye colours. And yes, he's got a goatee lol.
The Coyote Sona: We decided to have him be a bit of a mix breed, and give him some coyote blood He has a really quirky side to him that is playful and at times downright silly, and he reminds me so much of a coyote when he lets his trickster side slip through. He can be undeniably playful and and at times turn into an absolute hyperactive spaz, and whenever he does, I sit there and think “You inner coyote is showing.” The coyote part of him doesn’t take place in size but rather in the little quirks of his personality.
