Teacups
Hey, young people. I hear you like serving tea these days. What a coincidence, I have some tea cups to sell!
First up, you all aren’t getting my cool Rosina 4873, so don’t even ask.
Second up, I did my best to find reasonable prices, but I’ll be honest: I had to stop after a while, because I kept finding more that I wanted to buy, which is the opposite of what I’m trying to do here. I’ve had most of them for going on 10 years, and have never had a good way to display them, so I’m giving up. It does not make me happy, but there we go.
Third, if you have questions about them, or want more pictures or detailed details, just let me know.
Ok. That being said, here’s the tea. Cups. and saucers.
Winterling. Super cool pattern, and dude I’d want to be a Winterling if it didn’t sound so cold. Gold edge and highlights, cute little starburst things. Could not find it online freaking anywhere except one lady’s blog post from 2012. She figured early-to-mid 50′s. $30+shipping.
Saji 8088. I hear this is the “Imari” style. I don’t know what that means, but it’s a pretty cool pattern. Lots going on . Lots of black and gold. 1950′s. It has some wear on the handle, the gold is a bit rubbed off. Otherwise is great shape. $30+ shipping.
Stanely something. Not sure. Couldn’t find it online. The color here doesn’t do it justice - it’s actually a light green, like wasabi color, on the outside, and a pale yellow inside. Very sleeky and smooth. $15+ shipping.
Royal Standard Festival Rose. Shiny gold trim, and the leaf design on the edges is also gold. Definitely a “pinkies out” kind of teacup. $20+shipping.
Chubu China. I couldn’t find this exact pattern online either. I know the symbol is Masonic, Job’s Daughters. The gold accents are very textured, down to tiny little dots on the outer triangle. $35+ shipping.
Avondale F170. Gold trim and accents, blue kind of watercolory floral designs. Is cute. $15+ shipping.
So, if you need a fancy teacup for this tea you’re serving, let me know. Or maybe you know someone else who likes pouring tea. Share! I’m moving soon and don’t want to take a chance of breaking them - they’ve been through a few moves already, I don’t want to risk it. And honestly, I’d rather not sell on Etsy.
