“Winter.” He said, looking up in surprise, but pulled away from the datapad he’d been looking over. Coruscant was still the only place to get any research done, and he’d pretty much locked himself away since arriving.
“I’m sorry-- were you looking for me? Does Leia need me for something?”
@winterrcelchu replied to your post “hey whatever you do, don’t think about the fact that Breha tried...”
Do you wonder if she ever felt slightly guilty that she ended up raising their daughters?
yes, absolutely. I’ve discussed it regarding Leia a little here, and Breha would have certainly have had similar feelings of guilt raising Winter after Sheltay dies. she loves those girls so much but there’s no way that she doesn’t occasionally feel a twinge of guilt that she gets to raise them, she gets to love them, she gets to be so happy with them, she gets to teach them how to read and watch their first steps, she gets to watch them grow into strong, independent, intelligent, beautiful women..... and Padmé and Sheltay don’t.

It was strange to Luke to meet Winter for the first time. Winter had grown up practically as Leia’s sister, and it was strange to him to be her biological brother who doesn’t know her nearly as well as someone who isn’t blood related but grew up alongside her. At first, this led him to be a little intimidated and shy around her; but that warmed when he realized that she was as caring and accepting a person as Leia, and that she wouldn’t take his presence as a threat to her relationship with Leia. He greatly admires and respects Winter, though he does tend to subconsciously keep his distance all the same though that’s likely because demands on his time keep him away from Coruscant or on opposite ends of the galaxy than Leia.

UH. UH. UH. FORGET YOU HEARD-- oh... shit.
|| To say that tutoring the Princess of Alderaan in court etiqutte was difficult would a vast understatement. It was clear that Leia was far more interested in blasters and battle tactics, which frustrated Sabé to no end. So she took great comfort in the fact that the princess’s friend Winter was a natural at it. She was a bright girl, smart and quick witted. Sabé was very fond of her, and it was why she had summoned her that evening.
“ I want to give you something. “
She made her way over to a small bookcase in the corner, searching it’s shelves until she finally found the book she was looking for.
