eve enjoyed a good joke but really, sometimes, things were just taken too far. and when that happened, it stopped being funny. and things were only funny as long as everyone was laughing---and he had not laughed from the start so. ugh. bracing himself, he looked at lyon and mustered his best apology expression. it was not very good; he rarely had to apologise because he rarely overstepped boundaries. right now, he deeply regretted that he had not stopped the civilian recruits from poking and prodding at lyon, it was just not . . . nice.
