Vineyard// Yellow, Sunlight
Excerpt- “Sit in the sunlight” (The sandwich theory)
Shanice held her breath and finally put the pen to paper, “She sat in the middle of the field of green, surrounded solely by sunflowers. for a second i was once again overcome by the power of Aphrodite and i saw a nymph. the sunlight shimmer around her wrapping her like a blanket as if Helios himself refused to leave her presence, she looked up at me, smiled and spoke her voice light like that of the breeze that sweeps through dandelions, ‘sit in the sunlight with me’”, she groaned, tore out the page from her book and tossed it aside. she held her head in her arms and looked down at the picture of Hana holding a sunflower by her side, “that was so bad,” she whispered in regards to her latest literary "piece" and went back to writing her essay.

WIP INTRO/ The sandwich theory
I think a relationship is kinda like a sandwich, the two people are like two pieces of bread, perfectly good on their own but not necessarily enough to make a sandwich i mean a relationship. Firstly you kinda need the spread a metaphor for whatever um, then you need trust in the form of tomatoes, lettuce for communication, ham for intimacy and voila a delicious sandwich or a well rounded relationship.
so to you a relationship is like a sandwich
yep i call it Hanna’s sandwich theory
i don’t think you know what a theory means.

SYNOPSIS:
Lycee Saint-Louis is a high class catholic boarding school for the elite and wealthy and Shanice Taylor is used to sticking out like a sore thumb. From the fact that she was raised in a working class family to the fact that she wasn’t even born in France. She is used to having to put in a hundred and one percent more than any one else who went to the school, from football, to yearbook committee, to poetry club she has to be exceptional and yet keep to herself enough to stay out of trouble she’s so used to it, it’s almost fun. but you could say a part of her does long for a more......relaxed adolescent life, you know the whole teenage love story but being a lesbian in a catholic school her options are limited at best and her tendency to simply pine doesn’t help her.
Enter Hana Dombrowski and an impromptu poetry project. Hana is the girls everyone didn’t know how to hate she’s kind, sweet and so spontaneous that Shan doubted she existed but prayed every night that she was real. but Shanice didn’t like her at least not like that right? right?!?!
