February 3rd- Describe your decorating style
Lady Thea: I decorate pretty plainly. My bedroom is decorated in light, open colors.
My bedroom in London has light mint green walls with golden-colored designs. My bed is made of white iron railing. I have a green bedspread that matches my walls. The curtains are white and I have a windows that let lots of light into my room. I have a white dressing table and a chair in the corner that faces the window.
In Astermore, my bedroom is dark blue and mahogany wood furniture. I had less say in decorating that than I did in London.
In Ravenholm Castle, I stay in the Queen Mary room. It is a very feminine room with light blue-patterned wallpaper and blue bedding and curtains. It has a south facing view over the loch. I can see the village of Ravenholm, which is spread mostly around the shore. The people mostly make their living from the loch. To get to town from the castle, the quickest way is to take a boat across. My cousins and I will sometimes take a row boat to get to town. The castle is on a narrow part of the lake, so it doesn’t take too long to get around. Now that my uncle hired a chauffeur to drive their new automobile, we drive into town sometimes.
