My first entrepreneurial endeavor
I was 12 years old when my mom helped and invested on me to get my first business off the ground. She grabbed my hand one summer day and took me to a neighborhood where they had a big shopping mall with discount deals. She bought me stock of cheese puffs, gum packs and candies. I setup a wooden box at a close by playground and sold the items at a higher price. Continued above for couple of weeks until I realized margins are low and I can do better. From basic knowledge of electrical circuits I learned from school at the time, I founded my first technology company. I hand made a wire loop game, http://bit.ly/XFk6iE and took it to the park and charged my friends and kids in the neighborhood to try passing the loop once for winning a gum or a cheese puff. Obviously I made the loop very difficult (impossible to complete) not to give away any prize! :) come on, I was only 12...
