"Haunted White Lies" { A Bachelor Recap }
**DISCLAIMER: IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED TONIGHT'S EPISODE YOU WILL BE READING SPOILERS AND WHAT HAPPENED ON TONIGHT'S EPISODE. VIEWERS DISCRETION IS ADVISED** So, the girls and Nick have relocated to the beautiful New Orleans, Louisiana (Hometown of Jaimi) after staying in Wisconsin which is the home state of Nick. Lets begin with the areas that were visited by the cast this episode. They made it to New Orleans, Louisiana and are staying at the JW Marriott Inn and Suites in the city... They took a stroll down Bourbon Street and enjoyed the limelight of the city.... Some of the ladies then took a little trip to Darrow, LA to visit the historic Houmas House... The Houmas House in Darrow is actually a haunted plantation antebellum style house on a good chunk of land.. It's tied to many supernatural phenomena occurring there, and has a lot of history. It was a working sugarcane plantation by 1802 when the US obtained the area through the Louisiana Purchase..... ^ A little history lesson for you guys^ Then the remaining date, the 2-on-1 date which consisted of Corinne and Taylor –––– They took a boat ride down the bayou's swamps for their two on one which turned to be a rather trying time for the two ladies. Then when they were at their destination with Nick took a stroll to a sacred cleansing ritual area with the Hoodoos there to cleanse them and individually read their cards.. Now lets talk about the 1-on-1 with Rachel, we will start with the first date..the 1-on-1 with Rachel. Rachel and Nick took a casual fun stroll down New Orleans' iconic Bourbon Street to partaken in a sightseeing adventure and a special musical parade down Main Street. That, then took the two to a restaurant where they feasted on everything from oysters and hot Cajun sauce to beignets which are very..messy *Ask Nick!*... I really enjoyed their 1-on-1 date they had.. It was really fun. I would have loved to do that little casual date with Nick... Rachel and Nick then took a good dance-walk down Main-street with performers and they danced like nobody was watching. They had a fantastic time just taking in the sights and smells of that wonderful city. There then was the haunted house group date and trust me..I also would have loved to go to the Houmas House with the group of girls to see the landmark. The adventure took them to learn about the apparitions of a seven year old girl (Let's call her Mae) who passed from an illness and was buried in South Carolina as she didn't get to return to the plantation. The girls took to exploring the house, of course when it was dark to get the full on spook factor!!! They also then asked the Ouija board some questions and got some twisted answers.....What really made me like this date more than the date with Corinne and Taylor at the weird voodoo ritual festival thing in the woods was how supernaturally interesting it was... All the history inside the house, along with the rather creepy vibes... I'd take that as a good thrill-seeking adventure for sure... I'm not sure how long I would've lasted but I would've loved to experience it for myself..... I loved how Rachel got the First Impression rose in the beginning, and in the first group date she had the rose.... Then tonight's group date, Danielle M (She never gets the 1-on-1's :( I loved her.) She got it tonight.... To conclude, I was rather pissed off that Taylor was sent home when clearly it should have been Corinne who got eliminated. Really? What the hell? Corinne straight up lied to Nick's face accusing Taylor of bullying her and saying she was stupid.. Really? You're making that up Corinne.. what did Raquel teach you? Don't make up white lies little girl... Or no cucumber slices or cheese pasta for you!!!!!!!!! This is another post for Bachelor Nation Blogger, - Till next time.... move bitches. Shania -xoxo
