the coterie threatening purpee city council after befriending bigfoot like:
so much of city council of darkness so far has been the spiritual successor to that one episode of neverafter where not a single one of the party's social interactions went even the tiniest bit okay and it's incredible
i feel like all of ally’s pcs have fun relationships with zac’s pcs, but i’m loving how quinn and connor interact so far. just two slightly off putting weirdos hanging out in german shepherd mode together
somehow that entire episode had the same energy as when brennan revealed the tazgw'agwa tentacles in cloudward ho
the way hugi spoke in this episode made me think about the garden of death by hugo simberg
lavonte the moment he got a look at the basement in their new home
love an abandoned mine. it’s just such a classic place to be haunted by vengeful ghosts
my dream d20 season concepts:
the intrepid heroes + a dm other than brennan (my first thought was either aabria, matt, or jasmine)
intrepid heroes + brennan but each episode a different member of the group is the dm. this one definitely has challenges to it, and might involve some loopholes (like a campaign with no leveling, and at the end of each episode the characters find themselves sucked into a new place so the next dm can start fresh)
