About us/some disclaimers:
This blog is run by a DID system, many of the things we write about are symbolical rather than literal (as none of us surface dwellers have access to trauma memories, only these vivid projections of them that may well be very removed from the actual events). Our group of usual fronters is fairly fictive heavy and we still seem to develop one or a few alters a year, depending on the amount of stress or changes in our life.
Any names or seemingly unrelated tags on the posts are most likely organisational tags or credit for system members.
We are potentially polyfragmented, right now the official headcount is somewhere over 60 and there are still layers locked to those of us that interact with the outside world.
We generally seem to change hosts every few years. To us, "the host" is a job; we don't believe in "core" or "original" alters, everyone is equal, and everyone in a system deserves to be heard about decisions that affect them. You are welcome here even if you don't personally believe in the theory of structural dissociation, but please don't add/tag anything implying a hierarchy of some alters being more real or important than others.
Depending on the alter in question we have low to no empathy and only very rarely feel guilt, either for neurological or trauma reasons. The diagnoses listed in the description apply to the current host and most of the other usual fronters, but not all.
Many of us are nonbinary, most of the current fronters are male or masculine leaning.
The body is white, if we step on any toes please do let us know.
We try to tag the most common triggers, and some tags may be for people we think might relate even if we're not personally part of said group (such as other PDs than what we have). Sending an ask for a specific trigger to be tagged is always allowed, no matter how obscure it may seem.
