The last time

I look over at my couch and I swear I can see you sitting on it watching The Vow just like we did one year ago. One year ago was the last time we even hung out. You had to work but came over when you were done and brought a pizza. You had made your own creation. It had bbq sauce and pineapple. It was interesting I wasn't sure how it would taste but I tried it just for you. I wasn't a big fan but you surely were. When we were done eating you picked out a movie to watch and of course you picked out Harry Potter. When you left I gave you a hug and kiss goodbye for the last time. I never would have thought this would be our last time together.

That's all I'll ever be

Just informant! Nothing more or nothing less. It's all I'll ever be. Someone who can drown their sorrows, I mean I know that's why I am friend. But honestly, I don't want to carry people's burden. Then why do it? No fucking idea. It's all I'll ever be, really. A doormat. Empathic. It's quite annoying feeling so much emotion.
