When was the last time you actually got some rest? (From Vil)
lack of sleep starters! // @wishkept
"Rest? Who has time to rest?" Idia seems almost offended at the mere thought of deigning to sleep when there's so much hype around all the new releases happening this week. New games, new anime seasons and even a new single from his idol group are all going to be out in the same week. "It's like back-to-back special events happening IRL, if I miss even one I'm never going to experience that launch day serotonin!"
It's all on top of his schoolwork and projects of course. Idia may be easily excitable when it comes to his hobbies, but he's not irresponsible. That said, the bags under his eyes are more prominent than usual, and the serious answer to Vil's question would only earn him a concerned and probably very stern look. Idia would like to avoid that, thanks.
"Whee hee hee! And the new season of my fav anime is dropping tomorrow, I can't wait..."

Go off about Jade's fanons 💜
Send me a “ 🔥 “ for an unpopular opinion.
An unpopular opinion I have is that I do see Jade capable of throwing a tantrum. I've written in some, albeit rare, asks where Jade did the closest thing one could call a tantrum, especially for Jade. His tantrums aren't fiery and widespread like Floyd's tend to be. Jade rarely lashes out, but he does have a temper. He can get upset. He can frown and pout, and since I've been playing twist again recently, I see that it's actually more obvious than I last remembered it:
Jade smiles when he's mocking or insulting someone
Jade smiles during inappropriate moments, usually when something bad happens to someone else, even if Jade isn't the one behind it
Jade smiles when he's saying something with a different meaning compared to what he deliberately lets out
Jade smiles in general when he's speaking to someone else
Jade smiles a bit more when he's unusually nervous
but also,
Jade frowns when something is deeply serious or when he is genuinely upset
Jade's lips form a thin line, a neutral expression when he does not like how things are going at the moment
Jade's frown is reserved for rare, seldomly seen occasions, but it is enough to prove that he does actually have feelings even if he tends to be incredibly subtle with them

What was Meg's initial impression of the Shrouds and their attempts at managing the Underworld in Hades' absence? How did she handle the loss of him on her own end?
To start, we need to go to your second question and then work our way up to the Shroud line. It’s a long story, but I’ll keep it as short as I can.
Megaera had, and still has, complicated feelings towards Hades, and Persephone; these feelings that she cannot readily express, or that she considers her greatest weakness. The kind of feelings that would put her on the same level as Alecto, and that is not something she will ever be ready to discuss out loud. As the Age of Gods came to an end and the Gods she was closest to began to fade, entering the great sleep or unmaking, Megaera found a lot of her time being spent at Hades’ side, fulfilling roles that were once Persephone’s, for the Queen wouldn’t return after the last Spring of the Era. ( Hades would be marked as one of the last Gods to fade, lingering longer than Poseidon, and even Zeus, but outlived by Hera. )
During this tumultuous time, Megaera had to balance out her duties as a Fury, and those of Underworld guardian. Her feelings, whatever they were for Hades, were buried beneath eons of careful planning and diligent work effort. And should she stray too close, quick backlash would make her retreat. Not that she ever strayed in the sense of wanting to become that kind of companion. ( Megaera does bear several scars from Hades’ wrath as his time grew shorter and his temper flared. The most obvious one is a ring of burned tissue around her throat that she masks beneath an illusion casting choker. )
When Hades did eventually disappear, Megaera was given temporary control over the Underworld. She became the key-holder to the gateway to the Underworld, and the wingless queen upon the throne. For centuries she remained in the dark, her sole focus on ensuring that the Isle of Lamentation would not be found until a true heir could take her spot. During these centuries, Megaera was unable to really contemplate the disappearance of Hades. She wasn’t allowed to linger on her wants, or to mourn him. She was busy trying to hold up an entire island, to use her own body as an anchor point to the Underworld, guiding souls and so forth. This would cause severe damage to her body, let alone her own core being, burning away at her primordial essence, but she bore the unending pain for the sake of loyalty.
When the first Shroud arrived, he was little more than a child, almost physically comparable to Ortho. He, so full of potential, would take his seat on Megaera’s lap, and from there be reared by her until he could be bathed in the waters of the Styx and receive the blessing of the Underworld. This child would be given the name Shroud only after he came up from the Styx, if he survived at all. This would birth the Shroud curse as well, to be caught between life and death, to produce blot and burn it at an alarming rate.
To say the truth, Megaera felt nothing for this child at first. He was merely the one who survived the ritual, the child who bore the fading blood of the gods. But he was dedicated, and he ruled the Underworld like Nyx had once ruled the Night, grasp lose enough to give freedom, but tight enough to remind everyone not to fuck with what is theirs. Megaera can, now, many eons later, say that she respected the first Shroud, and his approach to managing the Underworld. But he was no Hades, and over time, none of his children could really fill that role, nor those who came after him.
Does she remember anything at all regarding being immersed in the River Styx? If so, how would she describe it?
So Megaera has no memory of her deaths as Megara and her interactions with Styx.
However, she has become very acquainted with the river outside of those instances, as she is one of the guiding hands which leads the Shroud heirs into the heart of the Underworld where the river resides, wading only to her waist before letting the souls of the despairing pull the heir under. And should the child live, they will have to drag themselves out of the soul filled stygian depths. The waters feel incredibly heavy to Megaera, like wading through a eternal quagmire, the overwhelming despair of millions of souls fighting endlessly, despairing, hating, suffocating.
Upon getting her wings back, did she feel more complete in herself or was it something she barely thought about?
Getting her wings back was like being reborn, like being made whole again. It was like awakening in Persephone’s arms, returned from her accursed mortal life, and feeling weightless. Returning to the cosmos, the everdark. If it weren’t for the fact that the problem children still being around, she might have manifested her wings, might have stretched them to the sky, shedding this fragile mortal shell for the first time in eons. But it also made Megaera keenly aware of how fragile she had become, separated as she was from her sisters, her mother, and Erebus.
If she could claim the ability to open and close the gate of the Underworld, would she?
Since she has already had such an ability in the past, she would only claim it if she was certain that Idia or, in some instances, Ortho could not handle the ability. In the past, she has had to forcefully rip this ability from previous heirs who had gone mad with power, or buckled beneath the weight of the Underworld.
@wishkept sent || ❛ no one beats me, no one wins my game. ❜ - Idia, wishkept
“Hardly fair saying that when I have no experience playing anything remotely close to the games you guys have here.” Yuu puffed her cheek in annoyance having lost at the dice game she had once seen Idia and Azul playing. She had been curious about the game itself and though she wasn’t officially a member of the gaming club, or any other club for that matter, she had been given the liberty to wander and test her options on what sort of club might interest her. It was only natural that she’d be drawn to the gaming club above most of the others, being as her athletic skills were mediocre at best. Sure, there was also the science club and a couple of off sided clubs that only seemed to consist of one to two members but none of those really seemed to interest her either. Along with that one of the benefits of the gaming club was that she wouldn’t get bored easily and the other was of course the fact that certain games required strong intellect, both of which were important attributes to the prefect, but the more she had sat back and watched the interactions in this gaming club the more she’d begun to wonder if it was really worth it?
“There’s such a thing as winning with honor you know.” She huffed once more, there was also such a thing as not being a sore loser, which Yuu would entirely argue she wasn’t, but it could be looked at as her being one in that moment. “Is this how it goes though I wonder? When someone wins they showboat and make sure the losing party knows they definitely lost?” She could see it being a thing, considering the type of students in the school and she’d already known first hand that at least two of the club members hated the very notion of losing.
Coyly smiling Yuu crossed her arms over her chest, if that was the mentality of this club and how it was going to be, well then she could play this sort of game too. “Silly me getting upset about losing, obviously the fact you’re a bot-man is coming into play here. How could a normie expect to win against someone that can calculate every conceivable outcome no matter what I might have rolled or done.” It sounded cold, and honestly that fact alone bothered Yuu, being as she wasn’t really the type to even try and put others down for her own benefit; but at the same time she needed to gain such a mentality if she had a single hope of living in this crazy place.
“If it’s a matter of this being ‘your game’ as you put it to then fine, I’ll make a simple game from my home world and we’ll just see how well you do then.” Declaring a challenge on the other hand, that wasn’t something Yuu particularly minded doing.
@wishkept sent || ❛ don't thank me friend, you very well may die. ❜ - from Aite
The concept was laughable, maybe not to any normal person but to Yuu who had been in more life or death situations than she’d care to count it was simply amusing. “You know who you’re talking to right?” She spoke amid a chuckle, the fact she was magicless in a school full of people who did everything from their chores to damn near eating with their magic making her one of the easiest targets in the school. Also putting her life at risk on the daily, though those who had previously zapped her with their magic had eased up significantly thanks no doubt to how close she had become to housewardens of each dorm. Or perhaps they had just grown bored attacking the same person and decided to change targets; the technicalities of why weren’t really something she was concerned about at the moment however.
“Besides it’s still polite to thank someone for their help, even if one person ends up dead the fact that you’re here to at least lend that hand is plenty worthy of praise.” Her nature being the exact opposite of most of the other students in the school. “Besides not to jinx anything but I’m pretty good at surviving all this world has thrown at me so far. So I’m not really concerned about it, worst case scenario I might end up in another short term coma.” Just like the time she got bashed in the head by one of the spelldrive discs.
“I would also rather you worry about keeping yourself safe too, I would hate to lose you either as you are now or as you are when you were a camera. We Ramshackle residents have to keep together!” The idea of losing Aite or Grim already making her heart ache. “I might not be magic, but I’ll also do what I can to keep you safe too. Flesh wounds are nothing in comparison to losing a friend!”

(Director) They are kinda getting friend zoned here, but Yuu still has a lot of trust in them and there isn't going to be any changing that. Sort of like she feels connected to them in some way, strikingly similar to how she feels around Grim. ;3 ●●●○○ | ATTRACTION ●●●○○ | AFFECTION ●●○○○ | INTEREST ●●●●● | LOYALTY ●●●●● | TRUST
(Deuce) Deuce is her good boy while Ace is her the bad boy and she adores both her boys. Deuce she is much more attracted to though and out of the two the one she's more likely to pursue. ●●●●○ | ATTRACTION ●●●●● | AFFECTION ●●●●○ | INTEREST ●●●●● | LOYALTY ●●●●● | TRUST
(Rook) Rook Yuu definitely see's more as a mentor figure, and she respects and appreciates him without question. However, he also sketches her out and the fact he seems to know everything about everyone does freak her out significantly. Of all the residents of the school, it's him she is concerned about finding out her secrets. ●●○○○ | ATTRACTION ●●●○○ | AFFECTION ●○○○○ | INTEREST ●●●●○ | LOYALTY ●●●○○ | TRUST
