i didn’t realize how much i needed this in my life until now ok i hAVE SO MUCH MUSE FOR IT. it’s pretty much based on the 100 and i really don’t know where i’m going with it but it’s a starting point?? anyway here we goooooo:
muse a and muse b know each other aboard the ark—one could be the chancellor’s kid or a member of a prestigious family or something and there’s an unlikely or maybe even a forbidden friendship which resulted in a ton of sneaking around? but anYWAY one of muse a’s parents commits some sort of crime and gets floated (muse b could play a part in them being caught or even they frame them for some reason idk). muse a understandably lashes out in retaliation and supposedly ‘assaults’ a guard, resulting in them being condemned as well. knowing they would be sentenced to execution, muse a truly has nothing left to lose so they somehow escape (with major ninja skills im guessing) and launches an escape pod, miraculously managing to reach earth. but the ark being the ark cover up her escape, ensuring that everyone, including muse b, is led to believe muse a was floated. upon muse a’s arrival on earth, they could have stumbled upon a village of grounders who assured their safety and they eventually muse a adapted to their way of living as a grounder.
when the dropship lands, they are reunited once more but muse b might hardly be able to recognize muse a anymore because they have turned into the epitome of ruthless. when they first see each other again it could be a life-death situation where they are trying to kill each other and just imagine aLL THE SHOCK like ‘no, no, no. you’re dead how the hell is this possible?’ and then imagine all the denial?? bonus points if muse a pretends not to know muse b when they actually and comes so close to killing them (or killing one of the other sky people) because the angst which could result in muse b absolutely despising them and wanting revenge. then you have this whole loyalty thing emerging with muse a because they don’t know where their allegiance truly lies—is it with the sky people or the grounders? despite being ‘enemies’ on earth, muse a still cares about muse b but muse b has given up on them because of all the terrible things muse a has done?? omfg can you imagine if muse b got captured by the grounders and then muse a helping them escape and trying to convince muse b that everything they did was to protect them (and the rest of the sky people) from the grounders then muse b is all ‘but nothing protected us from you’.
SO MANY POSSIBILITIES ASFDSHAGAF. wow im so done with myself already this hurt me so much. i have no clue if this will appeal to anyone but feel free to IM or inbox me or like this and i’ll message you!! then i’ll love you eternally tbh.
