guys I lost my stylus. I thought it was adhd oh-it's-around-here-somewhere-not-lost-you're-just-blind but no. It's Gone. my expensive came-with-the 2-in-1 laptop stylus. my stylus. it practically raised me. guys my warranty is expired and they won't replace it. g uys I have so many art thoughts right neow bu my stylus-
my shayla. my poor lil pen is miSSING- I can't pay $70 to replace you, my stylus. I've contacted my university's lost and found. currently dying

stylus update!
the good news: she was found! since its a magnetic pen, it was apparently stuck to the metal chair leg of my seat in class and not noticed until I went back for it
the bad news: t the nib is gone guys. and lenovo doesnt do nib replacements. my pen is broken. found, yes, but unusable. idk what happened to the poor thing. its still connected to my laptop but no longer draws.

I have been reading all the books I didn't have time for during the semester!
rn im halfway through this awesome book called empire of the scalpel, which is basically a comprehensive history of surgery from it's inception. very interesting to read about how for a lot of history surgery was considered a kind of medicine that the uneducated/unskilled practiced when compared to shamans, magical healers, and traditional academic physicians. (for some reason working with ur hands was seen as separate from working with ur brain.) some ailments can only be quelled under a knife and all that. lmao im rambling sorry
