Headcannons of Olruggio/ Qifrey being Girl Dads - I'll add more as I think of them.

Qifrey and Olruggio know how to do hair. However, Qifrey's braids are neater, and he tends to put flowers in their hair.

The girls prefer to be around Qifrey when they don't feel well; but seek out Olruggio when they have nightmares.

Qifrey lets the girls paint his nails any color they chose; he comes away with bright pink nails, and Olruggio makes fun of him until Tetia paints his nails black while he slept. Qifrey can't stop staring.

Once while Qifrey was out, Olruggio let the girls give him a makeover (he was extremely sleep-deprived, and trying to keep them entertained so he could nap). They put glitter and barrettes in his hair while Richeh and Coco did makeup.

Olruggio finds ways to keep the girls entertained while he naps such as letting them play barbies (his barbie is always on a business trip or in a coma); letting them play cars on his back or letting them draw on him; makeovers, plays, etc.

They may or may not know all the lyrics to the girl's favorite songs and find themselves humming the songs while working. Olruggio has come downstairs several times to Qifrey and the girls dancing in the kitchen while singing at the top of their lungs.

Olruggio lets Tetia and Coco pick out his accessories when there's a festival or party.

Olruggio is a better driver while Qifrey gets distracted too easily. Olruggio is also the type of dad to reach his hand in the back while driving to ask for snacks.

Olruggio isn't allowed to help the girls with their homework. He gets fluster too easily and the last time he helped, both him and Coc were in tears over several math problems.

Olruggio pretends to hate the brushbuddy; however, he secretly would kill for this tiny creature.

Agott likes to have late-night conversations with Olruggio; sometimes, they get deep. Olruggio usually makes tea and puts out cookies before she comes down.

Qifrey isn't allowed to go clothes shopping with the girls again; he once came back with a whole dress store.

The girls leave their hair-ties, nail polish and toys lying around. Olruggio has slept on a pile of stuffed animals, barbies and legos more than once.

Olruggio's work almost always has stickers or drawings on it from the girls while Qifrey almost always has glitter on his clothes or in his hair. Glitter has been banned several times, but Qifrey and Richeh sneak it in.

If Qifrey isn't up before the girls, Tetia and Coco will barge into his room and bounce on his bed until he's up.

Olrruggio and Agott (and sometimes Richeh) have performed several science experiments in the kitchen, resulting in fires or explosions more than once.

Olrufrey Headcannons:

Olruggio gets flirty when drunk. Qifrey gets flustered and is constantly blushing over Olruggio's comments.

can we talk about how, olruggio's kinda caught up in the middle of all the main story lines. olruggio, the one who made coco fall in love with magic, who wouldn't have bought that book without it. olruggio, keeping qifrey alive through a pact they made when they were kids, and the sheer fact of knowing that he can't exist in a world without him. olruggio, one of aggot's most important mentors, showing her that she can be so much more than the offspring of her mother. in fact, one of tetia's and richeh's most important mentors, a soft hand outstretched to them when their inventions have cursed them hardship. given the ability to be kind. given the ability to always show unconditional love towards those who he cares about. a polar opposite of qifrey, banished behind the veil of a practiced smile. never to hold never to cherish. olruggio, inventor of necessity and beauty for the common people. olruggio, warmth. olruggio, the sky's kindest, most radiant star. olruggio, who gives and gives but never takes. olruggio of the torch.

let's not forget witch hat atelier is a story about coco, aggot, tetia, and richeh. i know y'all loveeee your doomed yaoi mcgee(s) but witch hat atelier having 4 girl main characters is really important.

olruggio keeping aggot from being more on ground while saving folk is a really important plot key here. he is protecting her from the possibility of suffering what he had suffered at her age.
