Common Name: Lilac
Scientific Name: Syringa Vulgaris
Other Names: Syringa, Loves First Crush
Planetary Alignment: Venus
Element: Debated between earth, air, and water depending upon source. Flowers in general are earth and air but other schools of thought believe lilac to be a water herb.
Ways used: Blossoms and powder
Interesting Facts: Purple lilac symbolized the first emotions of love in the Victorian language of the flowers. It is said that for love it is more powerful on Friday, but for banishment it is more powerful on Saturday.
Medicinal Uses: No definite medical uses were found.
Magical Uses: Love, protection, warding off evil, exorcism, beauty, harmony, and balance. It is said to be able to drive away a ghost instantly.
