Living a Magickal Life
I am a Witch. I am a Wiccan. I am a practitioner of magick and divination. In this time of connection to the world through internet and social media, I still have trouble finding those things I would like to use in my practice. While I know I don't need anything to practice, I do enjoy using crystals, herbs, oils, incense, candles, etc. I like discovering new ideas and points of view in books by authors I haven't read before.
I live within driving distance (less than an hour) from two metaphysical shops. Both carry a large variety of items, but I have trouble getting to them due to my schedule and theirs. When I seem to be nearby, they aren't open. I understand the owners/employee have the hours that work best for them and I don't fault them for it.
Alternatively, I shop online. Amazon has a large selection but I worry about quality at times. I tried some independent online shops only to discover the sites up but no one is actually there anymore. If I do order something before I realize there is no one actually manning the site, it is a long a drawn out process to get my money back because of course they are still processing credit cards even though they are no longer shipping.
