Hi, everybody. I wanted to get this up sooner, to finally hit the schedule again after a haphazard little break. But things have been kind of tough on my end, and stealing time to sit down and work is a daily challenge. And we’ve gotten some tough news lately. I’m still taking care of my mother as her dementia worsens (and an elderly dog who WILL NEVER let me sleep past 4:00 AM unless I’m on the hard floor next to her), and on top of that... It turns out my father’s cancer has spread to his spine. It sure wasn't the news we were hoping for, and an attempt to raise money wasn't as profitable as we'd expected. So, all things considered, I’m keeping the GoFundMe for my Family up for a while longer. I’m so grateful for all the help we’ve been given, and I wish the tightrope we’re on would finally widen into a road, but we’re just not there yet. Though I’m talking with the perspective of someone who has a road to look forward to. For my parents… I guess their road is harder to see. The future is a word with a very different meaning for them. Still, my father’s a good guy, he’s taking it all on the chin, and I’m proud of him. There’s nothing in the world he loves more than the thought of my work bringing folks a good time, so don’t let this detract too much from what I hope is a fun comic. Every time we talk, he tells me how much he hopes I’m managing to do my work. So I will. Thanks for listening. And look, I’m finally reintroducing yet another character from the Long-Long Ago! Oh, Panda, it’s good to see you again. She waited a long time for this! Hey, did you like the rap?
