Good and all, but my gripe with it is that it never felt like it left the 20th century. Which i guess is pointedly so - allusions to corrupt, controlling, destructive power that remain evergreen, especially in this production's time/place. But that leads to another gripe in that what good does art do to counter that power except in raising frustrated ire in the viewer? What's the point in being this blunt about it? Good and all.
