-maypole: A maypole is a popular and familiar image of mayday or Beltane, a phallic pole usually made out of birch, was inserted into the earth to represent potency of god. the ring of flowers on the top was to represent the fertile goddess. the many colored ribbons and the ensuing weaving dance symbolize the spiral of life and the union of goddess and god. the union between earth and sky.
*the colors of Beltane are green(growth,abundance,fertility), red(strength,vitality,passion,vibrancy), and white/silver(cleansing,clearing,power to disperse negative energy.)*
Things you could do:
-Egg charm for Beltane.
-Make a Beltane wish box.
-Make Beltane bread.
-Stay out all night.
-Dress you home/alter/tree.
-Get lots of flowers.
-Make some hawthorn brandy.
