♣ - a fading memory
“My tribe...” Rhea answers without hesitation. She sits and idly blinks at you. For a moment you see the woman actually become vulnerable. “I miss them.” Her eyebrows furrow and she is forced to look up into the sky to prevent any tears that might slip down her cheek. “Isn’t it funny how we become so attached to individuals? It’s not fair, I say. Because one day they will disappear no matter how hard you try to hold onto them. I’m starting to lose sight of what their faces looked like.” Rhea scoffs at her last remark, a sign of disgust in herself emerges.
“If they were still with me to this day, I would not be in Rome. I would not be forced to become someone’s partner. “ She begins to spat, trying her hardest not to become angry at the system.
“Que sera sera, right?” Rhea chuckles as if nothing had happened. Her demeanor becomes playful again and her eyes are full of light.
“But enough of that..”
