witchy bracelets
Hey everyone! I just read a post from @maxthedeathwitch about friendship bracelets in Witchcraft and the idea is stucked into my head now. It is a perfect thing to do to include your craft into your daily life. Think about all the possibilities! I just wanted to share some of my ideas (and write them down so I don´t forget them).
1.) for friends
That´s probably obvious. Especially a good idea if you need a christmas present for good friends and are on a budget.
You can use colours corresponding to your intent and draw some sigils on it as well or, if you´re really good at this, inweave your sigil somehow.
2.) for yourself
Glamours or protection spells were just the first things that came into my mind when I thought about this. You could use it to increase your psychic abilities, your self confidence or to attract wealth. Really anything could work.
3.) for the elements
Keep your element always with you! Use colours, herbs or really any other thing related to the element in your bracelet - as long as you can still wear it, you can add it. You´re a landlocked sea witch? Add some sea shells to your bracelet.
4.) deities
I don´t know a lot about deities, but maxthedeathwitch has some lovely ideas about the use of them, check out his post here.
For the extra oomph: Make some herb or flower water fitting your intent and let your bracelet soak in it. You can leave your bracelet in there for as long as you´d like (but be careful - maybe some of the things you used may rot/vanish), then let it dry. Thanks to @maxthedeathwitch for this gorgeous idea! I really like how easy and for others unremarkable this is. Plus, they can look super cute. If you have more ideas about this, please let me know!
