Witchy Experience #1

So I have had more than a few experiences growing up but I’m starting with this one because it’s the first one that sort of spooked me (more than ghosts but that’s another story)

When I was 15/16 we were playing rounders at school on a nice summer day, anyway our team is up to bat and as I’m waiting my turn watching others bat I start daydreaming about the ball going back into the persons stomach, I had never seen it happen before but it must happen right? So I say to my friend

“Hey wouldn’t it be funny if the ball got hit back into the pitchers stomach?”

Literally the next person came up to bat AND DID EXACTLY THAT. Literally about 20 seconds after I said it. To which my friend shouted

“OMG BECKY DID THAT?!? HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!”

Well that freaked me out because I didn’t KNOW how I did that. Did I predict it? Or did I jinx her? Also my whole class heard my friend shout about about it and then my friends were spooked.

I still don’t know exactly what happened there but it was certainly NOT FUNNY. It’s not like I disliked the girl pitching, seeing her rolling on the floor in pain wasn’t funny. Seeing the batter ridden with guilt was NOT FUNNY. Not knowing exactly what happened but knowing in my bones it was something powerful that I didn’t understand was NOT FUNNY.

Of course I did later shout

“Hey, wouldn’t it be funny if I became a millionaire?”

As a joke, that was pretty funny.... didn’t happen though.

My Grandmother visited me on Samhain, and she's been around ever since.

My grandmother, who was my very best friend, passed away when I was eleven. Since this was my first Samhain as an awakened, practicing witch, I thought I would try to reach out to her. I didn't actually end up having the time, with all the Halloween festivities going on, but I did say out loud to myself, "I would like to get in touch with her". The next morning when I woke up, a perfume bottle (the only item of hers I have, that she used to touch every day) was on a separate shelf on a separate piece of furniture, and the picture of her had "fallen" of my mirror (where it was very secure) and landed dead center of my altar, face up. I was instantly filled with so much happiness. I knew she was saying hello. Ever since then, she's been leaving me signs. On the night of the super moon, there was a star directly in front of me in as I was gazing into the sky. It blinked a few times, and then disappeared. I didn't consciously think, "that must be her", but I could FEEL that it was. This morning in the clouds I saw a woman holding a baby (the picture was her holding an infant me), then a bit later found a spider in my shower (I haven't seen a single spider in over a year since I moved here). I'm convinced these are signs from her, and I am so grateful.
