Whimsigoth meets talavera / Oaxaca
I wrapped the chandeliers in eucalyptus
(scavenged from a communal brush pile after an ice storm)
I’m really happy with my house right now. I rearrange some things did a big clean before our Sockstice party. Most of these are from before but some are from after. One of my friends joked that you can tell a witch lives here. Lol. I don’t really know how to describe my style. My home is my sanctuary and it makes me feel safe. I just think it is cozy. My grandfather worked in Egypt in the 80s and traveled a lot so I ended up with a bunch of brass rubbings from churches and bronze and wood things from them. Plus records and zine things and art by friends and thrift store finds. I have a whole other room of books. Maybe my style is shabby cozy thrift store witch? Say hi to Jackie cat asleep on the couch hiding in his favorite fuzzy blanket.
My room is coming together, finally.
