An interesting thing happened while my husband and I were out today. We went to "The Witchy Park", as I call it.
My husband spotted a book lying on top of one of the statues off the path. Why would anyone put a book there? I mean, you do you. It just surprised us. It was a heavy hardbound Psychology introductory book.
Now, most of you know that I've been having questions about being ADHD and my self-diagnosis of being autistic. I got my hopes up that this book might have some answers for me. I didn't look at the book at that time though. The book had been rained on at some point. Most of the pages were relatively okay, just damp on the edges. Other pages, back in the appendix, were sticking together a little.
When we got home I looked at it in more detail. Hmm... I suppose that since it was an introductory book, it never mentioned ADHD or Autism. Still, I find it very interesting that we found that book.
While we were at the park, some birds were singing loudly. That made me quite happy to hear them. And a little bird, I don't know what kind, had no fear of us at it bopped around the ground looking for yummies. Quite an interesting day!
