✧ Mental or emotional strength

Emily likes to think she is mentally and emotionally stable. This thought process keeps her sane and going day by day, pretty much. Realistically, she is a very broken person mentally and emotionally. She has it controlled, but to a point where it is suppressed, bottled, which isn’t healthy. She will often times refuse to show emotion, claiming it as “simply controlling it” or will often keep a one-track mind on something that shouldn’t be dealt with in one perspective. She thinks she’s strong, but she can be so easily torn down that it’s difficult to prove just how strong she is, emotionally and mentally.
