Abbie and Kris Reject Canon and Substitute Their Own

Kris: What season three?

Abbie: Arrow was canceled last summer.

Kris: Such a shame.

Abbie: So sad. What a waste.

Kris: At least they didn't copy the exact narrative arcs from season one of Arrow for season one of the Flash. I mean, they could have really been lazy.

Abbie: What a terrible thing that would have been. So lazy.

Kris: Disastrous. Might have ruined the entire season for some people.

Abbie: So great there was no love triangle too. And I really look forward to Eddie's heroic arc next year.

Kris: I was so sure they were gonna kill him.

Abbie: And Iris heading up Team Flash now that Wells is gone, and not stifling her voice in the group. And it's so nice they let Joe in on the secret.

Kris: Yes! And they kept the time travel stuff so clear and easy to follow. It could have gotten really messy.

Abbie: How's it gonna change things, now that Barry's mom is unfridged and just suddenly yanked into the future?

Kris: I don't know, but I'm so looking forward to it.

Abbie: Same. Mama Allen is gonna be on Team Flash, I bet. Making up cover stories, keeping everyone fed, looking after Caitlin, who is talking to Ronnie again.

Kris: They really developed her character so well, even while she was gone. you really really felt how her death specifically impacted Barry.

Abbie: We got such a sense of who she was it hurt so bad that she was dead.

Kris: And they didn't make her death all about how Barry's dad was in jail. They split the tragedy evenly.

Abbie: Such a refreshing twist for a superhero story.
