ok but kate has always thought that love is owed and earned and that she has to repay the love that people give her...
so then here:
she thought that the love edwina gave her as her sister had to be repayed back, so she begs anthony to marry edwina because she felt she had to owe edwina back for the love she gives her.
the fact that this girl really really sacrificed her own happiness all for her sister breaks my heart
I had fun! Very one-note bad guys. I loved how the world and logistics unfolded as the movie went along. Emily Blunt world class performance

Secret Smile is very dark and creepy but definitely worth watching at least once. His abusive, manipulative and psychotic actions are framed properly in the sense that we, the audience, KNOW he is committing atrocious actions and completely root for and sympathise with the victims, not him. Ever. It's scary how good DT is at portraying such an awful character. And I have to turn the volume down when he says a certain line. But, fantastic drama, and lots of twists + turns and a clever resolution
That's good to know. Anthony put it down on the queue so as soon as I finish watching 'As You Like It' we'll be watching 'Secret Smile.'

Yeah, I’m sure I’ll watch it eventually just because DT is in it but it is pretty low on my priority list at the moment. I have all of his recent stuff to watch first. I didn’t realize it was available on netflix. I’d rather not have to buy it.
Yup it's on the dvd queue. And it's like six dollars (DOLLARS NOT POUNDS) on amazon.co.uk. We might end up getting it (shipping it going to be like half the actual cost of the movie) if it's good.
