ok but kate has always thought that love is owed and earned and that she has to repay the love that people give her...
so then here:
she thought that the love edwina gave her as her sister had to be repayed back, so she begs anthony to marry edwina because she felt she had to owe edwina back for the love she gives her.
the fact that this girl really really sacrificed her own happiness all for her sister breaks my heart
