everyone calling wandavision boldly surreal when doom patrol is right there
#don't get me wrong i like wandavision but#with characters like#flex mentallo#danny the street#robotman#aka#cliff steele#niles caulder#rita farr#larry trainor#aka:#negative man#and freaking#cyborg#mr nobody#and the myriad of plots i can't really explain because they're just so saturated in grant morrison energy#anyway#doom patrol#is a great comic and a great show and i just wish#it got that recognition#because#wandavision#isn't that bold or surreal it's actually pretty grounded#and has frequent check-ins with the real world which ground it even further#like if you really want to watch something weird and from the world of comics#i strongly recommend legion or doom patrol#also i really encourage you to see if your local library has the doom patrol comics available for check out#they're a really really fun read#ah beans i almost forgot#crazy jane
