An event such as one that focused on jewels and precious stones only highlighted those who were in high society and those who normally worked such events, but Sophia’s royal decree made it so both worlds would collide and she had been thoroughly entertained since. The difference, was of course, highlighted in the attire, some wore plain fabrics of the gemstone of their choosing while others had fancy fabrics, with their necks and fingers adorned in the best jewelry in all London. The princess of England was no exception to the latter, and she sparkled beneath the candlelights in her amethyst inspired gown, and jewels to match of course. It was to be the Ruby Dance next and it was the one most were excited for, mostly because it was to be the most scandalous one, and Sophia needed someone worthy of such a dance. Standing at the edge of the dance floor, the princess spotted none other than Oskar Ludeker and all that sprung to her mind was the gossip that would surely follow if they danced. “Mr Ludeker I am so happy to have found you, and I come offering nothing more than friendly assistance. You simply can not attend a ball of this magnitude without dancing and I was hoping you would join me on the floor?” The princess did not wait for his response as she offered him her dance card, still attached to her wrist. There was already some talk beginning around them, mostly of the princess’s forward question to someone they had deemed below her, but such a thing did not bother the princess in this moment.
