closed starter for @rosalindmurray Miss Rosalind Murray // Murray House
The dowager queen hated hearing the news that Ms Leonora, a former Murray, was to wed into one of the wealthiest families without so much as considering the heir, Rosalind. The princess had spoken, at length, of how Rosalind did not need such an advantageous match, that the future Miss Rosalind Murray envisioned for herself was entirely of her own making, a luxury that most did not have, even a princess. It was at that moment that the princess decided to push all fears or worries about Rosaind Murray aside and decided the two should be friends, at least attempt to be. Armed with chrysanthemums, sunflowers and pink tulips, Sophia had stopped by the Murray house for tea, while everyone was fussing over the widowed cousin, now was a perfect time to seek out Rosalind, or so she had hoped. The season was so intent on pitting woman against woman, all the princess wanted was a friend, a confidant of sorts if it suited. “Miss Murray, I thank you for accommodating me. I have wished for friendship between the two of us for some time and I think now is a perfect chance to start it, if you will of course have me and not just for the idle retellings of Lady Whistledown, though that is not completely off-topic.” Gossip was a fast way to make friends, of that the princess was sure. There had been many occasions in many parties that included people retelling stories they heard from another and as entertaining as it could be, the princess simply wanted more.
