She's heard the Chao are utterly adorable, and she thought maybe seeing one for a bit would cheer her up slightly. That, or maybe there'd be someone else she could chat with anyone else that might be around. "Hello? Anyone here??"

There was a pile of Chao that was laying on top of someone, a metal hand reaching up. “Help! They fell asleep on me and I cannot move!” Shard lamented. “It’s like when a pet falls asleep by you, you can’t leave!”

The toddler-sized man-deer glared ahead for a moment, understanding that intense battles were afoot. He had a bit of time left to enjoy himself before the big battle, deciding to spend that time with his new hedgehog friend. Approaching Amy, the reindeer shook his head a few times, wiping off the sour expression and replacing it with a warmer, more welcoming smile for her. Best not to burden her with his drama. “Hey! Shard took a seat beside her. “Hey, just....take your time,” he said. “I’m...not entirely sure how this was brought up but some of the stuff these anons are saying are pretty harsh,” he quietly said. He’s not sure what to say or what to do outside of this, but he figured that hanging around for a few hours might help, right?
