Hi! My name is Kate, and after reading some of your writing I absolutely had to say something to you. I'm a twenty year old English major with a focus on writing. Prose is definitely my strong suit, but I have such an affinity for poetry it kills me that I'd never consider myself good at it. Your poetry is absolutely gorgeous and I'm infinity jealous. Don't let anyone get in your way of sharing the words in your head and/or in your heart. You are a wonderful person, I can tell. A Proper Monster

If monsters could meet me or shake my hand, I wonder if their claws would hurt me.

Or would they look at me, so small and fragile, and wonder what I'd tell my friends.

Would I spin a story of a horrible attack, or would I say –

"I met a strange gentleman. He looked a bit peculiar, but he had better manners than the other strangers I've met."
