Mage of Void Land Analysis (No Darkness/Silence)
For cobalttranspiciousity (Apologies for the late reply)
Alright, I think I’ll the disappointing stuff at the start. For Mages of Void, there is basically no complete escape from the darkness and silence. In fact, the Mage of Void requires it as the definition implies:
Mage: Receives Knowledge From Aspect.
And Void, well it’s basically the darkness and the silence. Yeah. So in order to be able to Receive Knowledge from your aspect, you’ve got to, well, associate with it. But I suppose there could be a twist, as another definition of Mage would be:
Mage: Forfeit Aspect to gain knowledge pertaining Aspect.
Wait what?
Alright, I’mma just get into the analysis before I confuse humans even further:
Land of Illusion and Intangibility
Land Feel:
At first sight, it might seem like an active, animated land; perhaps a bustling city, or maybe a lively village, something along that line. (It’s still gonna be at night; I mean it has to fit the theme of a Void player so) However, you soon realise that it is really actually kinda hollow, with you being just a small fry in this area and the consorts couldn’t really give two shits about you. Basically all the liveliness in this land is practically nonexistent, and just an illusion in your eyes, hence the name. So in other words, you find your aspect, Void, in a land which ghosts optimism, and idk ’Light’ I suppose. Yeah. That’s how the “Forfeit Aspect to gain knowledge pertaining Aspect” thing works. Here, that is. Yep. (Alright, alright, I get that it might not necessarily mean this in other cases, but well. Yeah.)
Land Quest:
From what I’ve seen in a MBTI post, the Mage of Void is categorised under ISTJ. So I’m gonna use that. (Whoa, whoa, that doesn’t mean that all Mages of Void are ISTJs or anything, it’s just a guideline I base on.) According to thepageofhope, Guardians (SJ) are to protect the land from an impending doom. “Mages need to learn to realise their skills and not get caught up in self-deprecation.” As quoted from the same source. In general, the Mage of Void’s quest is to learn how to “GET OVER IT”, and save the consorts from perhaps a monstrous creature or something. Most likely a denizen. Perhaps a suggested denizen could be Erebus, a Primordial Deity, the personification of Darkness.
So that’s it. Gomen Nasai @cobalttranspiciousity about the late analysis. I had been rather… busy. With work. And life. And stuff. Yeah. *Cough* And definitely not procrastination *Cough*. But yeah. Please forgive me if this had been terrible (I mean its my first legit analysis on a legit blog, its bound to be terrible. Sorry about that.) Oh and @Anonymous I’m working on Land of Religion and Canvas. It should be out soon *Cough* Provided I don’t procrastinate *Cough* But yeah.
