0920 // NIGHT

Was just washing up my face and getting ready for bed. All of the sudden, I just start singing a super old worship song that I used to love for at least 10years.. and it’s been so long since I sang it. “Come, Holy spirit “ I remember months ago, I did attempt to sing it just out of the blue but I got stucked, I forgot the chorus totally.. I went..

"Come, Holy Spirit fall on me now I need Your anointing come in Your power I love You Holy Spirit You’re captivating my soul And everyday I grow to love You more."

But today! I manage to just go on and slowly I went on my knees and begin to remember the goodness of God in my life. Its like I was brought back to where I used to be, the timeline of my life. I just kept weeping uncontrollably. I don’t know why but I feel peace in my heart. I continue the song..

"I’m reaching for Your heart You hold my life in Your hands Drawing me closer to You I feel you power renew Nothing compare to this place Where I can see you face to face I worship You in spirit and in truth"

I remembered how fearless I was to believe in a God that is different from the our "usual' Chinese ethics. I remembered how strongheaded was I to stick to my faith depite of strong parental objection. I remembered how much I desire to be closer to God and His word (Bible) and getting revelation after revelation. His presence in this room is still so strong even until today. How faithful is He? I thought to myself. To be frank, it has been really long(at least 3mths plus) since I sit down in my room, usher in the presence of God, wait upon Him and let things flow. Life’s been too busy & I gets too lazy but of cause I’m human after all, so don’t be flaky. Today, I’m captivated all over again & I miss God and the tangible presence of cause, the personal relationship and fellowship is just so awesome. (:

At the end of the day, many things may happen or may be happening around you, but NOTHING should stop you from having a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with God and NOTHING should affect that relationship built between You & God, not even the church. Walk with wisdom.
