- that locust/giant grasshopper on james's shoulder when he scored - neymar tripping before he got to his teammates to celebrate their goal - james rodriguez crying after his team's loss    - david luiz (bra) comforting james (col)    - david and james exchanging jerseys  - stupid refs who were lost bc a lot players on both sides should've been carded.  - neymar being out of the Cup bc of his injury.  I'm  not very confident that brazil's going to make it through against Germany with their star player and captain missing out the next match, but there's still David, Julio, and Hulk, players I really admire. It's going to be intense.  Other news: I'm glad Argentina made it through!

i am always enamored by your writing, and i appreciate you and all you've done. since the moment i stumbled upon your blog long ago, i have come to enjoy having the opportunity to know you. i just thought i'd drop this because it's good to see you up and about again. i want to play with your cas with every single one of my muses, it's ridiculous.

oh gosh, what kind words. i’ve had to think for a few moments on how to even respond with any distinct coherency. to be honest, it’s like treading water all over again having come back here — all of the worries flooding back about character representation, if the writing is alright and all of those other things that relate to appearances. i had forgotten about all of it, including first impressions.

so i’ve been afloat and a little rusty, needless to say. but this is great encouragement and i thank you, truly, for sharing this with me.
