after moving back to my countryside hometown, and making an effort to buy more from the farms around me, its been hitting me how much Flavour everything has compared to the supermarket variant. Medieval (european, cant speak much for others) people had so much flavour in their food, its not their fault our milk tastes like Nothing

#the yogurt too #oh man and the tomatoes are like a different thing alltogether #my friends all thought i was at least a little exaggerating until they came over and tried it #potatoes are more subtle but its absolutely there #wizard adventures #and as we all know local honey is fucking incredible #no matter where you are #I like the eggs better too but idk if thats a placebo #but its at least v nice to say hi to the chickens who laid them whenever i go pick some up across the road #cheese ofc ofc #im honestly not sure i like the milk bc im so used to it not having much avour #so the very strong Cow Flavour is almost throwing me off a bit but heated w honey and a bit of cinnamon its nice enough before bed hahah #Also!! it does have to be said i did get the milk at the supermarket its just From a local farm #theyve got loads of local stuff and i do respect them for it #oh and also beets!!#homegrown beets are so good #carrots i only want the supermarket carrots bc i dont like the flavour so the homegrown carrots are too strong for me
