rate my 5 minute drop spindle that i cobbled together from a pencil, fat cat eraser, and shower curtain hook
Been playing with my drumcarder today. As my burning shoulder is proof of. Anyway, I just wanted something to have on the spindle this summer.
Now the real challenge, to not spin mud.
(and don't ask me what wools or colors are in this batt, cuz the answer is Yes. All of them. Used up any little bits and bobs that I had leftover from other projects.)
The "Geoff" corriedale fleece is still a wip,but got a nice shoebox full of prepped locks for worsted spinning. Figured out the right set up for doing it inside, so it was thoroughly enjoyable with the tv on.
Jellybean utterly adores this specific fleece, I wish I knew what was special about it...

And this was spun from blue-faced lister. It was fighting me the whole time, but I think that's the nicest yarn I've ever spun.
