Ya know, I feel like Hypnosis would be a large subject in any magic school really.
Like teachers making students discuss the ethics of Hypnosis, asking if it really shouldn't be used or if it should be used on morally corrupt people only and how much should a person be hypnotised, etc. .
Do you ever question? How does a merchant you buy from always appears somewhere near the area you're in? How we seemingly arrive at the final location before you, right before the final battle?
Truth be told, we are simply watching tales unfold. I mean, for us, the stories of the hereos, villains and etc. are just a play on a stage to let our eyes feast upon up close and personal.
Truth be told. A merchant doesn't really care of the outcome.
We do not care if you lose, we do not care if you win.
We do not even care, that the items and trinkets we sell you are of any help.
As a Wizard Merchant, I am never the hero nor the villain, neither do I even impact the story. I am simply unimportant.
I simply watch tales unfold.
As a wizard merchant traveling worlds, there are some realms that are a taboo when traveling.
Such as: dimensions owned by a corrupt force, unstable dimensions, America, fallen/destroyed worlds, the void, realms home to destroyers of worlds, etc....
If anyones wondering if I still do wizard stuff, I'll let you know EVERYTHING I post is canon to my wizard self. Even things without wizard tags are still part of my wizard life, some wizards also have OTHER HOBBIES than just to sit in tower and ponder an orb for spirits knows how long.

Many wizards use technology infused with magic, I instead use both technology and magic to create my products!
I have products that can turn you into a shapeshifting, whimsical creature and also give you cybernetics.
I am the wizard merchant of the modern age!
I have even an employee with cybernetics who does all my taxes and shiz, with a computer monitor for a head.
Though the paperwork for legal cybernetics is immense, I tell you that.
