Will Trotsky feature in heart of the world? He’s one of my favourite Lily characters and I reread your side fics about him around once a week. Guy is fucking unhinged and it’s always so funny

He has a very brief cameo in The Heart of the World, actually, a blink and you'll miss it/will only mean something to people who read the fic at the moment.

You have some references to k-pop in your Lily and the Art of Being Sisyphus fanfic, so I'd like to ask that in your opinion who would be the visual in a k-pop boy band, Lenin or Trotsky?

This is especially shocking to me as I know absolutely nothing about K-pop beyond that it exists and it’s an intense industry.
But uh, knowing nothing about this, I’d say Wizard Trotsky as he’s younger? They’d just try to keep the fact that he’s a complete dumpster fire of a human being off screen. Best of luck to them with that.

just want to say I find it hilarious that tom from man who would be king and diary tom from Lily and the art of Sisyphus somehow came up with the same backstory of calling both lilys their cousin. Out of everything, he relegates to calling women his cousin as a form of connection, oh my god. Like is this a backstory that tom has on hand or what lol

Honestly? Yes, that is the backstory he has on hand.
Tom's mother died in childbirth in the orphanage, as a result, he cannot have a younger sibling. In both stories, the women in question were younger than he was. This means a sibling's out of the question.
On the other hand, his uncle Morfin survived for longer, was a known scum bag, and it's not entirely implausible that he went around having sexual relations with Muggles (in Lily Evans' case) or whoever (in Ellie Potter's case).
That's about where the reasoning diverges though.
In Lily and the Art of Being Sisyphus, Trotsky wants to be closer to Lily than anyone else and cement the relationship they don't have. He needed her to be physically and emotionally dependent on him, which is why he turned her into his 'cousin' as she was too young to be anything else. He does it entirely for emotional manipulation purposes.
In The Man Who Would Be King, Tom finds himself in a position where he has to out Lily without her dying. If he claims she's his secret wife, then why did he pimp her out to James Potter and YOU MEAN HE MARRIED A MUDBLOOD?! If she's his sister, why is she so much younger? Making her Morfin's daughter points to a very plausible origin, gives reason for why Lily would attend Hogwarts as a muggleborn not knowing she was a halfblood, gives reason for why Tom himself would be ignorant until his actions drastically changed (e.g. Godric's Hollow), and stops anyone from readily killing her. It's a believable excuse of why he'd suddenly have her around and want neither her nor Harry Potter dead.
How would Trotsky and Edward get along? Would they both think the other is bug fuck nuts for the way the other acts toward their “loved one” (Bella, Lily) or could they strike up a friendship from hell where they think the other is super noble and gallant and swap romantic advice?
Anon is referring to Wizard Trotsky, a character from "Lily and the Art of Being Sisyphus". Specifically, he's the diary horcrux and he has... issues.
Relevant is that, in the pursuit of his own obsessive love interest, Wizard Trotsky once obliviated her, made her think she was his first cousin, and took her to a brothel.
Lily has never forgiven him for it.
And they'd think the other is nuts, of course.
Trotsky would see... vague similarities, perhaps, if you rubbed them in his face but it'd be very reluctant. From his perspective, Edward Cullen is nothing like him. The boy's moping over his perfect life, with an absolutely boring girl who is completely enamored with him, and he's immortal to boot.
There's no need to grease Bella's windows, stalk her constantly, or all the bullshit Edward does. Edward even had the gall to dump her and then get her back.
Where Trotsky has to fight for table scraps of Lily's attention let alone her interest and good will.
Trotsky would think Edward's an undeserving asshole. He's like Wizard Lenin, but even worse, because at least Wizard Lenin doesn't whine.
Wizard Trotsky might kill Edward out of principle because his very existence infuriates him (how he'd accomplish this is anyone's guess, my guess is he'd goad the Volturi into doing it).
As for Edward, well, he sees Wizard Trotsky's actions (as well as Tom Riddle's) and conclude the boy is mad and would otherwise have grown into the kind of man Edward once devoured. He's a criminal, a degenerate, and should never be allowed anywhere near Bella.
That he appears to be in love with a crass, smart-ass, obnoxious little girl is just the icing on the cake. Those two deserve each other, really, as the girl's nothing at all like Bella.
Edward would kill Wizard Trotsky himself, but he's above that sort of thing now, and Carlisle and Bella would judge him. A man worthy of Bella would not eat Wizard Trotsky.
So he gets to live...
But Edward does rat him out to the Ministry of Magic/Dumbledore the first chance he gets.
Hypothetically, Lenin and Trotsky swap body situations without lily knowing. What happens?

Trotsky would try to take advantage immediately but also be immediately discovered because of it. Lenin's talking to her again without being a giant, offended, diva? That's Trotsky.
Lily's wise to body swapping and possession and wouldn't be fooled for long, especially when it comes to various Tom Riddles. She would be very very annoyed by this.
If I recall you mentioned Trotskys song being Poisoning Pigeons in the Park by Tom Lehrer. Why that song? Not I hold your hand in mine or one the ridiculous love songs?
Because I enjoy that song.
More to the point it's mostly because, well, that's the date I picture him going on. Oh they'll go to the park, it will be lovely, the spring is springening and they're going to spend it poisoning pigeons in the park!
