What happened at wizard world?

Chris was trying to answer a question but Tom intervened with a compliment and some bicep squeezing. :-P

Chris shook Tom’s hand off kinda “roughly” but if you watch closely his expression you can see he wasn’t really annoyed but more like making a joke out of it because he really. Wanted. To get on with answering. That damn. Question. And Tom’s hand massaging his arm was probably distracting him a bit too much (if you know what I mean.) ;-) :-P :-P :-P

Check this out, it’s the same expression of fake annoyance he had when he was “telling off” Mark.

It’s not like he was “cold towards Tom”. After all, you can totally see the chemistry and familiarity between those two after all those years, teasing each other in front of everyone at any given chance, Tom making a cute snarky comment about Chris’ excuses because Chris didn’t know who Jonathan Pine was (Tom’s character in “The Night Manager”). And then Tom TOTALLY PRETENDING he didn’t know the name of Chris’ character in “Ghostbusters”, Kevin, just to get back at him, because we know Tom remembers eeeeeeverything. Bickering like a fucking adorable couple. <3 And Chris urging Tom to dance on stage and Tom saying “I’ll dance if you dance”, or Chris telling him he should play Juliet and Tom replying “Will you be my Romeo?” and THE LIST OF HIDDLESWORTH CANDY IS ENDLESS IN THAT Q&A.

And what did some people get from aaaall of this?

The collective cold!Chris headcanon that is so persistent to this day, even after the IW press conference and the IW premiere. Because of that one time, because of “body language”. What the hell.

I mean isn’t the thirsty-and-lonely!Tom headcanon just as unfair to Tom as the cold!Chris headcanon is unfair to Chris when it’s believed to be the truth? What we have here is two men who just love each other and never fail to show it. Always always touching each other and laughing at each other’s jokes. Always.

So Tom likes to intervene and he sometimes talks too much, and Chris can’t always reply to his jokes because he’s focusing on something else (his answer for example), so what?

And now that you mentioned Wizard World, I’d like to ask if any of you can hear EXACTLY what Tom said at 10:14. Something about “Chris” and “excuses”. :-P (yeah I’ve been trying to figure out what he’s saying there for MONTHS).

My favorite Carrie Fisher story was from this woman my sister and I met at Wizard World in August of this year. She had met Carrie during her photo op (like me) and had on a shirt with a great feminist saying on it that (I believe) contained the word “fuck” that I don’t remember the exact wording of. Carrie loved the shirt and said she wanted it, so after the ops were over she literally took off her cashmere sweater and swapped shirts with this woman, who she had just met. So now this lucky woman owns a piece of Carrie’s wardrobe, just because she had on an awesome shirt that she probably paid $20 or less for and because Carrie was just that fucking cool.

I am going to miss that woman more than words can ever express.
