Overhead is Famous Greek Magizoologist Thyra Maragos. When asking members of the wizarding community about Maragos they either describe her as very strange or very dedicated. The action that gave Maragos her fame was when she used semi transfiguration to give herself a bird like appearance in order to study Harpies. Maragos stayed in her bird like form for a little over a year during her studies and later went on to write a book about their nature entitled "Femme Fowls, my time with the Harpies" Maragos book sold well among fellow Magizoologist and Greek wandmakers wishing to learn more about the creatures. In this book she revealed new information on the culture of Harpie flocks, hibernation, and their hunting patterns. Maragos claims she often visits her former Harpie flock saying "while some may say they are only birds, I felt a great sense of sisterhood with them that I would not trade for anything". Maragos reportedly claims to be traveling to Germany to study Gamayun.

The Choccolocco Monster Also referred to as The Southern Wendigo this beast has a controversial past latched to it. During a time where magical beast were being discovered by the non magical community in America in the 60s MACUSA were outraged when once another beast was discovered by no majs. This beast is known by witches and wizards as The Cránaca. Cránacas home are usually found in southern American States and Central America, being a custom to the heat and humidity. They are large, shaggy haired and have the the skull of a long horned cow for a head. This creature is extremely dangerous which is expected being a cousin to the Wendigo. When MACUSA discovered that the Cránaca had been identified by no majs in Choccolocco, Alabama they devised a plan. They sent memory modifiers to the home of a local no maj and altered his memory to have the no maj community believe he was the Choccolocco Monster in a costume. Some American witches and wizards found it inappropriate that MACUSA blame a innocent no maj but MACUSA stood by their decision.

La Tomatina in Wizarding Spain

Spanish Wizards are also known to celebrate this Holiday in Wizarding Villages and sometimes in unplottable terrains. But being magical there are obviously modifications to the No Majs La Tomatina. Witches and Wizards participating are known to enchant tomatoes with Sligshot Charms, Pestering Jinxes, and and in one case (now banned after this Incident) bewitched with a Preadatorily Curse. During the La Tomatina of 2007 experimental herbologist Octavio Holguin studied tomatoes for years and eventually manufactured what he called "Holguin's Detonating Tomatoes". This magical breed of tomatoes were engineered to explode in a salsa like mess on impact. When the Holguin family used this in their Wizarding Village they were known as the main threat at every years La Tomatina. Though others have found ways to match the Holguins such as swelling tomatoes to the size of watermelons or having a group of Duendes assist in the massive food fight.

On the streets of Mahpop Center a pub rest on the corner of Egans Lane and Merced Lane. The pub's sign shows a cloaked figure with a levitating "z z z" over his head and a script underneath it reading "The Sleepy Reaper". The pub was founded by Caspar Sidaway not long after the founding of Mahpop in the Industrial Age. Matching with Mahpop's sheik black design The Sleepy Reaper blends in perfectly with its surroundings. While currently being owned by Caspar's descendant Chelby Sidaway, the pub is very popular among Mahpop residents and visitors.

The woman in the photo shown above is Russian marine magizoologist Olenka Lopatin. Lopatin is famous for finding many of the uses for Bagiennik oil. This creature's oil has very strange magical properties still being studied today but it is most renown for its aid in infertility. Lopatin was one of the only people to be able to obtain Bagirnnik oil without dying from it as the oil would burn who ever touched it. But with the help of her business partner and potioneer Masha Fadeev. Together the two crafted a new infertility treatment potion that helped quite a bit of couples wishing to have children. Though this remedy did not work on all women it did aid a large number.

Lopatin is also credited for her book “Saltwater Creatures of Asia and the Benefits of their Residue” magizoologist specializing in aquatic creatures quickly acquired a copy of this book. The book told of the usefulness of everything from Ningyo pearl tears to the hair of Encantos. Lopatin died in the year 1962 at the age of 100. She is memorialized in the form of a statue at her former school, Koldovstoretz Institute of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The illegalization of lust potions was established in the 1700s in Italy and quickly spread through out the wizarding world. For obvious reasons lust potions are seen as a sexual assault crime. But illegal potions can still be found on the blackmarket and has made many criminal sellers very rich unfortunately. Such as in the case of Otto Werber, a black market dealer who dealed across the United Kingdom. Werber was found with supplies of not only lust potions but also Murder Musk and wands holding very dark cores such as acromantla web and banshee hair. Werber was sentenced to life in Azkaban yet illegal potions still plague the streets.

Lust potions are most commonly used on no majs do to the infamous smell they give off only a witch or wizard could recognize easily. Yet no majs are oblivious to it. While most abusers of this potion prefer to modify their victims memory of their appearance for good measure, but in the nature of this potion it will often make the drinker assume they were consensual to this interaction but deep inside they will have a stirring feeling of guilt and shame the potion leaves behind. But members of the wizarding community will quickly recognize this as a side effect of the potion while no majs will assume they only feel guilty for what they think is an unknown reason.

In a very publicly spectated court case of Ignacio Solos who claimed Bibiana Jaramilo slipped a lust potion into his drink while at his friend's birthday party at the La Escoba de Bronce pub in Spain. The jurisdiction did not take long with healers tracing Ignacio’s body fluids and revealing he did have a small amount of lust potion in him that was just enough to still be in his system since the night of the party. Bibiana was sentenced to 18 years in prison.

Nisq Valley Entrances to Nisq Valley are hidden away in everything from the hole in the wall shops to the back alleys of Washington D.C. Having a very Ancient Greek feel with drops of Art Deco architecture mixed in Nisq Valley is the most successful wizarding hub in Washington. Though from some pictures may make the streets of the valley look purely porcelain and bland their are many shops and bulidings that throw in splashes of colors. Such as Sowerby’s Botanic Boutique, who sells a variety of magical plants and herbs varying from Bouncing Bulbs to Gillyweed and also uses green and purple accents for architecture. Along with the D.C Auror Precinct with a blue backdrop complementing the white designs. There are many town apartments and housing spread in herds across Nisq Valley along with impressive and elegant complexes.

Pluie Square In New Orleans if you go into Missy Hesper’s Green Houses and into the back garden, go in front of the center garden hedge and twist the ripest fruit 3 times to the left and the hedges will open up to reveal Pulie Square. A market place and home to members of wizarding Louisiana. Hosting amazing restaurants like Cajun Creature Cuisines. In Pluie there is however a poltergeist that haunts the terrain that is known to cause quite a bit of mischief to residents.
