Sister just told me the best hp headcannon. So, someone invents light bulbs right, and wizards freak the hell out thinking a wizard just told everyone they could create light, so they obliviate everyone who heard about these light bulbs, and confront the inventor. Only problem, the inventor was a muggle, and when they tell him off for exposing wizard kind, he/she's like wtf, magic is real!?!? So they have to obliviate the inventor too, meaning the real inventor of light bulbs never got credit
